PERFORMERS: Jennifer Nettles | Nashville Symphony

Dynamic entertainer Jennifer Nettles returns for a night of holiday favorites and Broadway hits with your Nashville Symphony.

This talented artist recently portrayed the lovable and comedic Aimee-Leigh Gemstone on HBO's hit series The Righteous Gemstones and delivered a powerful performance in Harriet, Focus Features' Harriet Tubman biopic. Leading with her powerhouse vocals and vivacious energy, she also recently released the EP I Can Do Hard Things, which celebrates the remarkable human capacity to handle life's challenges. She has released two critically acclaimed album, Playing with Fire and To Celebrate Christmas, on Big Machine Records.

Nettles makes up one-half of the multi-Platinum duo Sugarland alongside Kristian Bush. The pair recently released their first new music in seven years with their latest album, Bigger, on Big Machine Records and UMG Nashville. In 2019, Nettles received the Human Rights Campaign's Ally for Equality Award and the Artist Impact Award from Lincoln Center, for her stellar career in music and strong commitment to philanthropy. She made her Broadway debut in 2015 as Roxy Hart in the Tony Award-winning, record-breaking musical Chicago and starred as Donna in the Hollywood Bowl's summer production of Mamma Mia!
